Dark oil on steel
We ordered a dozen corten steel planters; 2 in the Spring and and 10 this Fall. 6 of the planters came in with oil on the steel which had to be scrubbed with soapy water to remove the oil before they could be sprayed with the rusting agent. It took several hours and several hundred dollars to clean them.
This is a clear oversight in quality control. It is easy to see that the panels are much darker when they have the oil on them. They should not have been packaged. They said they would pay to have them shipped back, but I received no offer of a credit for the hundreds of dollars spent in time to clean them. Great product, not-so-great customer service.

Best Planter - Absolute No-brainer Purchase
These planters are wonderful. While I haven't had them for long, I have been thoroughly impressed and could not recommend these enough. They are durable and perfect for just about any space. Difficult to build, but very worth it!
