This is a cool planter.
This is a cool planter. I like how it is evolving slowly over time. You do have to put something underneath it to prevent the rust from getting on your patiodeck and it needs to be larger than a 17 inch tray.

What I wish I knew...
What I wish I knew... They are SUPER heavy, yes they are steel. Solid steel, heavy steel. They come gray and have to rust out. Meaning they will rust all over, what ever it is sitting on. The rusting process can take awhile and once rust starts it will always have some kind of rust coming from it. I gave it two stars because the size is really what I was looking for and I feel kind of dumb not knowing exactly what I was buying.... Good part is my husband is a painting contractor and is painting them a rustoleum paint a really pretty metallic that I will really love. I am much happier . knowing they will last forever. Husband not as happy with the extra work for the cost we paid.
