corten long box planter

I recently purchased another long box planter to match the two I already had. I was very disappointed to find that thee are no longer shipped ready-to-plant, but they come in a flat box to assemble upon receipt. I do not mind putting the piece together, but do not like the fact that these no longer have welded corners. There are obvious gaps between the sides that will leak soil and water, possibly failing over time due to the lack of this weld. No mention of this change that I noticed on the website- not great. I am a landscaper and use these frequently for clients and will think twice about ordering these pieces again.
