Seasonal August Recipe: Peach

- 7 bags black tea
- 3 ripe peaches, 2 diced, 1 sliced in wedges
- 1 cup sugar
1 lemon, juiced
- 1.5 cups bourbon
In a saucepan, combine peaches, sugar, lemon juice, and 1 cup water. Bring to a boil, then carefully strain to achieve a peach syrup.
In a large pitcher, pour 2 litres of boiling water over tea bags and steep for 10 minutes. Stir in peach syrup. Refrigerate until cooled completely.
When it’s time to serve, add bourbon and sliced peaches and serve over ice.
